APRIL

โญ Larry Mitchell and Ned Asta - The Faggots & Their Friends Between Revolutions (1977)

JUNE

๐Ÿ“ฐ Leah Tigers - Little Miss Dysphoria (???)

โญ๐Ÿ“ฐ The Broken Teapot (2nd Ed.) (2014): Rough but a necessary read; in the decade plus since this came out I've read & reasoned my way to a lot of this stuff myself & elsewhere but it still feels invaluable all the same. Lots to chew on in reflecting on my own relationships and especially things I have been around and on the periphery of but especially incisive in pricking at the kinds of toxicity born out of dividing the world into ontological Abusers/Perps and Victims/Survivors and the unfortunate and deeply unfair complexities of agency and participation that those terms tend to occlude. Not exactly in the scope of this but this is where I break with a lot of mainstream feminisms; dividing the world into Male Perps and Female Survivors, both of which are eternally and unchangingly predestined to be opressors and opressed, guilty and innocent, in any and all dynamics between them, utterly forecloses the possibility of things getting better - if we (women) cannot ever see ourselves as agential in our suffering, there'll never be any way for us to be agential in our salvation.

๐ŸŽฎ Nadia Nova - Divine Despair Deviance (2024)

๐Ÿ“ฐ Ursula K. Le Guin - The Child and the Shadow (1975)
